Job Description
Our client, a major insurer, has a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified non-life actuary to support capital management and capitalisation activities, producing SCR and own funds projections and capital planning.
In this diverse role, you will deliver Solvency II regulatory capital analysis and reporting requirements including quarterly and annual model change reports.
You will also support embedding the model into the business and model use including risk-based return in product strategy, reinsurance purchase, strategic asset allocation etc.
In addition, you will produce ad-hoc modelling and capital analyses as required, supporting additional reporting requiring capital management input.
The successful candidate will possess proficiency in Excel and programming e.g. R/SQL/Python/Igloo/Tyche etc.
Experience in capital modelling desirable.
