As an Professional Trustee, you’ll bring your actuarial acumen to bear on the challenges faced by pension schemes, helping to ensure:
- Strategic funding solutions.
- Effective investment governance.
- Compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an independent voice on trustee boards.
- Provide actuarial insights into funding, de-risking, and valuation strategies.
- Oversee scheme governance, administration, and member communications.
- Collaborate with sponsors, advisers, and other trustees to secure positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
We are seeking individuals with:
- Actuarial Expertise: A qualified pensions actuary (FIA/FFA or equivalent) with substantial experience in DB schemes OR...
- ...Candidates with a pensions (PMI) qualification.
- Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of funding strategies, risk management, and pension regulations.
- Collaborative Approach: Ability to engage constructively with sponsors and other stakeholders.
- Commitment to Governance: A passion for ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance in pension scheme management.
