Job Description
Are you a part-qualified or qualified life actuary with a commercial mindset and experience of longevity reinsurance, looking to play a key role within the ambitious growth plans of a leading global business?
Then this is an exceptional opportunity to draw on your longevity skills and act as a vital technical expert within the reinsurance space.
Taking the lead in delivering accurate pricing, you will join a team responsible for the design and delivery of bulk purchase annuities and alternative de-risking products for Defined Benefit pension schemes.
Assisting senior stakeholders across the firm with technical analysis, strategy, and planning , you will also support the development of new and enhanced modelling capabilities.
In addition, you will be instrumental in the ongoing development of transaction structures, reinsurance solutions, and product lines.
With strong communication and presentation skills, the successful candidate will possess an understanding of Solvency II/UK for life insurance.
Knowledge of UK DB pensions together with non-standard capital and reinsurance structures would be highly valuable.
