Job Description
Are you a qualified GI actuary, looking to make your mark in an exciting, fast-paced and rapidly growing firm across the pond?
Then this is a fantastic opportunity to join our client's US-based pricing team where you will be responsible for strategic analyses and business partnership to help business units achieve target loss ratios, including underwriting improvement plans.
Producing and communicating regular portfolio management analytics to business units, you will support pricing and rating tool development for new programs while maintaining and improving the tools for existing programs.
You will also participate in initiatives to enable standardization and automation across data and reporting.
With expertise in pricing and reserving / profitability analyses, the successful candidate will be proficient in data manipulation, analytics, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python).
Experience with catastrophe modeling and/or predictive analytics would be an advantage and commercial lines experience is strongly preferred.
