Job Description
Are you a qualified GI actuary, looking to take your career to the next level within a global insurer?
Then this is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of P&C risk and the overall business strategy.
In this key role, you will provide challenge, oversight and risk opinions on:
- reinsurance
- reserving
- product design and pricing
- exposure management
- business plan
- solvency and
- capital utilisation
You will also oversee the stress and scenario testing, driving improvements in these practices, while reviewing and challenging the company’s financial risk profile and helping to develop existing Risk Appetite statements and metrics.
In addition, you will be instrumental in risk assessments, including looking at emerging risks and climate change, as well as contributing to the production of the Own Risk Assessment (ORA) report.
With strong financial skills and business awareness, you will have a solid understanding of the UK market and regulatory environment.
You will also possess strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Risk management experience would be a bonus.
