Job Description
Are you a qualified GI actuary, looking to take the next step on your leadership career ladder within an exciting, fast-paced and rapidly growing firm across the pond?
Then this is a fantastic opportunity to lead our client's US-based pricing team where you will be responsible for strategic analyses and business partnership to help business units achieve target loss ratios, including underwriting improvement plans.
Producing and communicating regular portfolio management analytics to business units, you will drive pricing and rating tool development for new programs while maintaining and improving the tools for existing programs.
You will also be at the forefront of initiatives to enable standardization and automation across data and reporting.
With experience in leading projects across multiple functions, you will additionally possess experience in leading relationships with business units to identify and deliver their pricing actuarial needs.
With expertise in pricing and reserving / profitability analyses, you will also be proficient in data manipulation, analytics, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python).
Experience with catastrophe modeling and/or predictive analytics would be an advantage and commercial lines experience is strongly preferred.
