Are you a qualified, technically-minded life actuary with a deep understanding of balance sheet management and ALM? Have you gained significant exposure to insurance, credit and market risks? Are you looking for your next senior position within a major insurance Group?

Star Actuarial is currently representing an exceptional opportunity for you to lead the oversight of the Group’s balance sheets and delivery of the long-term financial strategy.
In this highly visible role, you will design and maintain effective, proportionate and risk-based oversight activities for Line 2 while providing clarity to the business on requirements around risk management and appetite.
You will also draw on your well-honed influencing skills to challenge executive-level decisions and use your people leadership expertise to foster a team culture of coaching, support and development.
With an in-depth understanding of the principles of business planning, balance sheet management and optimisation, the successful candidate will additionally possess extensive experience in effective and efficient financial risk oversight.
