Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified (or part-qualified) life actuary with previous risk management experience to play a leading role in advising on the financial risks of the company, providing 2nd line challenge on project proposals including Bulk Purchase Annuity deals and acquisition activity.
Developing, reviewing and monitoring financial risk appetites, limits and scenarios, you will produce and develop the Company’s risk reporting, MI packs and other papers to Board and relevant Committees.
You will also provide oversight and assurance to any Matching Adjustment related risks.
In addition, you will work with the 1st line to help identify, monitor and manage financial risks (including investment risks).
With Financial Services (Life industry or Pensions Fund) experience, you will possess an understanding and experience of investments within the life or pensions industry especially fixed credit, illiquid assets, etc.
