Joining this international reinsurer as Actuarial Director of Financing Reporting, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the end-to-end production, analysis and explanation/attribution of quarterly US GAAP reserves while supporting other key functions.
You will also support the production of the business plan through the development of new models, assumptions and valuation processes for new deals.
Alongside this, you will conduct actual-to-expected experience analysis, monitoring and evaluating the performance of in-force treaties against pricing while developing and proposing updates to valuation assumptions.
This role would particularly suit someone coming from the US / Canadian market with direct experience of working for a life/annuity (re)insurance company or consultancy.
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, LDTI, and US Stat is also essential, as is strong Excel and R/Python/SQL or other data management skills.
