Job Description
Are you a qualified (or part-qualified) life actuary, preferably with experience of providing second-line risk challenge, looking for your next exciting role within financial and insurance risk?
Then look no further as Star Actuarial is currently represening the ideal role for you.
Helping to deliver the Pillar 2 methodology, models and ORSA results, you will prepare quarterly risk reporting for submission to Executive and Risk Committees.
You will also conduct in-depth risk assurance around key projects, asset management activities and product development while managing the emerging risk identification process.
In addition, you will assist with the maintenance of the risk management framework, including setting risk appetite and risk policies.
A passionate problem-solver, the successful candidate will have strong attention to detail coupled with a risk-based mindset and modelling skills.
Experience of designing or reviewing products/providing second line oversight in such areas would be desirable.
