Are you a talented data scientist or pricing analyst, looking for your next career opportunity within a boutique, data-focused provider of GI insurance services?
Then look no further!
Star Actuarial is currently representing an exciting chance to develop and maintain statistical models to analyse pricing performance and total profitability.
Monitoring and analysing competitive position, customer behaviour, claims performance and profitability, you will feed findings into recommendations for rating action and changes to pricing structures.
In addition, you will establish and evaluate tests to assess the relative performance of competing pricing structures while analysing and monitoring competitor pricing activity.
With the ability to analyse data to support decision-making, the successful candidate will be able to identify, investigate and explain data trends.
Previous experience using analytical software and tools (e.g. Snowflake, Python, R, Power BI) also required.
Previous experience in the insurance industry (car/travel) is preferred.
