Job Description
Are you a qualified GI actuary with extensive London market experience? Do you have a strong background in capital? Looking for a 6 month contract within a major global firm?
Then read on!
Our client is seeking a senior actuarial contractor to join its Capital Oversight Team where you will have the opportunity to influence market-wide capital standards, lead major review activity and contribute to the strategic roadmap of the team.
As part of your role, you will independently review syndicate-level capital requirements across key risk areas:
- premium
- reserve
- market
- credit
- operational.
You will also take the lead on annual capital reviews, major model change assessments, deep dives, governance reviews and IMAP applications.
With knowledge of actuarial techniques and Solvency II, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with keen analytical and problem-solving abilities.
