Job Description
Are you a qualified non-life actuary, looking for your next role within the pricing space of a major global consultancy?
Then look no further as Star Actuarial is currently representing the ideal role for you.
Working predominantly in pricing, you will be presented with opportunities to also work on Reserving, and/or Risk and Capital projects across the London/Lloyd’s market and/or the Personal & Commercial lines market.
You will provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, business planning, new legislation, and the efficiency and reliability of reporting processes.
In addition, you will take an active role in supporting the strategic management and running of the practice.
To be successful in the role, you will have a good understanding of a broad range of commonly used pricing techniques and a good working knowledge of one or more of: London Market direct pricing; reinsurance pricing; and personal lines pricing (both street pricing and technical pricing).
Experience with niche pricing areas, such as trade credit insurance pricing, cyber pricing models or catastrophe modelling, would also be beneficial
