Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Actuary to join this small growing team as the first investment actuary in the building.
This is a senior manager position that requires a deep understanding of investment strategies and actuarial principles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing investment activities, developing business, managing risk, and ensuring the financial stability of investment portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement investment strategies for defined benefit (DB) pension schemes.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in investment actuarial roles, preferably in a senior management capacity within DB pensions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant actuarial qualifications and certifications.
