Job Description
Are you a qualified GI actuarial contractor with detailed capital modelling and Solvency II experience? Are you passionate about model validation? Relish the opportunity to make a real impact within a major insurance Group?
Then this fantastic opportunity, exclusive to Star Actuarial, is perfectly matched to you.
In this exciting day-rate contract, you will develop the overall model validation scope and plan, acting as the SME on the Solvency II/UK regulatory requirements.
You will also support the financial risk appetite process, with appropriate early warning indicators, triggers and limits and reporting mechanisms while providing input into both the stress and scenario testing for the Group and the wider ORSA process.
In addition, you will support the business with Risk and Capital Assessments for new products, businesses and propositions where appropriate.
As a key element of the role will be reporting to the Board and other senior partners and stakeholders, excellent communication skills are a must, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail, are also essential.
Initial Duration: 9 months.
