Job Description
Are you a qualified (or part-qualified) life actuary with a strong interest in pricing and profitability, looking to continue to develop your career in a projects-based role?
The look no further as Star Actuarial is representing an exciting opportunity for someone with good pricing experience to take the lead on Income Protection pricing reviews and pricing for new products.
Working within a boutique and close-knit team, you will have the chance to get involved in valuations, reporting, capital etc. as well as taking on mentoring duties, using your experience and interpersonal skills to develop the Analysts within the team.
In addition, you will support other product related work, for example, implementing new or updated reinsurance agreements and developing management information for the business.
With experience of building cash-flow models (pricing or valuations), the successful candidate will possess good knowledge of protection products (income protection is ideal, but experience of other protection products could work well).
Experience of project-based work will be an advantage.
