Principal Risk Analyst - island adventure!

Are you a senior risk expert with an insurance or data science qualification, looking for a role which is that little bit different on the beautiful island of Bermuda?

Then this vacancy has your name written all over it.

In this senior position, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining data-driven models and analytical tools to support risk assessment and decision-making.

You will also conduct statistical analyses and financial modelling to identify trends, emerging risks and market developments.

In addition, you will evaluate reinsurance transactions, solvency requirements and capital adequacy assessments using data-driven methodologies.

With demonstrable experience working at a senior level working within a regulated financial services business, the successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office Excel, Python, R, VBA and SQL and possess strong organisational and communication skills.

Knowledge of both long-term and property and casualty insurance would be an advantage.
