London Market Reserving Actuary

Are you a qualified GI actuary with detailed experience in London Market reserving?

Then Star Actuarial is currently representing the ideal role for you.

In this key role, you will review, update and maintain assumptions within the GAAP reserving process, producing monthly and quarterly gross and reinsurance estimates for GAAP reserving.

You will also analyse Reserve Risk parameters for Capital Modelling alongside Solvency II Technical Provisions.

In addition, you will maintain and develop a core understanding of the latest Solvency II regulations and ensure compliance while contributing to essential research and development.

With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will possess experience in building reserving models and conducting ad hoc analyses.

You will also have knowledge of ResQ coupled with strong general programming skills (e.g. SQL, Python, R).
