Job Description
This is a fantastic contract opportunity which would suit a qualified non-life actuary who yearns for varied work but without the typical pressures of consultancy.
The role will primarily focus on providing advice for general insurance provisioning for key clients within the UK public sector. Think of it as a mix of reserving, pricing and cash flow modelling consulting where your clients are also your colleagues, helping them with strategy planning and forecasting for a wide array of known and unknown risks.
It would most likely suit someone with strong people skills, technical knowledge of reserving (and some concept of pricing too), flexibility to pick up and work on blank-page challenges, and a willingness to get stuck in.
The successful candidate is likely to be anything from a couple of years PQE to a senior industry expert, but we can consider anyone who has the right experience and ambition for the role.
Flexible working arrangements and a fantastic day rate fee are on offer, but there is no option to provide sponsorship so you must have an existing right to work in the UK. Our client also has a 60% work-from-office policy.
Please contact us now for more info about this great 6 month contract opportunity with a possibility of extension!
