Job Description Apply: Syndicate Capital Actuary
Goodman Masson are working with a growing start-up in the Lloyd’s market who are searching for a senior student / nearly qualified actuary to join their Capital team.
You will take on responsibility for capital modelling work supported by the lead actuary and will lead on the capital model production, the ongoing development of the model and promotion of it's use within the business. Day to day responsibilities will include capital model development, parameterisation, model use projects, input into model validation and regulatory reporting.
You will also work closely with other teams including pricing, underwriting and risk to help assess the impact of their work on capital. They have exciting growth plans which you will be a part of and plan to hire someone to report into the Syndicate Capital Actuary once you join.
London Market or Lloyd's experience would be highly beneficial as would good knowledge of ReMetrica, Igloo or Tyche. If you have capital modelling experience from a Personal or Commercial Lines background and are looking for that next step in your career, then this could also be the right role for you.
