Job Description Apply: Snr Investments Risk Actuary– Move from Life to GI
A unique opportunity has arisen for a life insurance actuary with an investments / capital focused background to move into a senior role with industry oversight of investment performance. You will challenge senior decision makers on investment decisions and understand their investment decision making with a view to improving risk governance.
This role will include:
- Assets and capital – focusing on the asset side of the balance sheet
- Challenging the business on the investment strategy and liquidity
- Thinking about capability initiates and internal model governance work too
- This role will involve some focus on their economic scenario generator – and you will lead on ensuring that the assumptions that they’re making are reasonable
