Job Description Apply: Senior Reserving Analyst - Lloyds Syndicate
This is an exciting opportunity for a Part-Nearly Qualified Reserving Actuary to join a Lloyd's Syndicate. You will be part of a new team supporting the reserving process and production of quarterly reserve reviews.
You will be working very closely with the Chief Actuary and Head of Reserving. As part of a small Syndicate team, you will get great exposure to the whole reserving process and Actuarial Function.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Calculating reserves for the business in conjunction with the Head of Reserving
- Assisting with reinsurance analysis
- Monitoring the performance of the business
- Perform reviews of the company's systems and databases
- Provide assistance to the actuarial pricing team
- Other ad hoc projects and reviews
The successful candidate should have between 2+ years of relevant work experience in general insurance, possess excellent communication skills and ideally will be making good progress with their actuarial exams.
