Job Description Apply: Senior Reporting Actuary
Our client is an expansive non life / P&C insurer writing property, specialty and casualty insurance on a world wide basis. Due to expansion they have created a number of new roles in their actuarial department, including a senior role for a Corporate Reporting Actuary. The role will be based in London with travel to Brussels, and will require BUSINESS FLUENCY IN FRENCH OR FLEMISH (this is essential).
The successful candidate will be the KEY PERSON for the Belgian regulator and will produce actuarial reports / statements of actuarial opinion that comply with local standards. In addition, the successful individual will also be involved with the Group Chief Actuary (also based in London) as well as the rest of the actuarial team to produce reserving and reporting reports for a number of other regulatory regimes and standards, including UK, US, Bermudan and Asian countries.
The ideal candidate will be a senior actuary with reserving / corporate actuarial experience (technical provisions, Solvency II, IFRS 17 etc).
The role will involve some overseas travel.
