Job Description Apply: Senior Life Actuary
Goodman Masson are recruiting for a senior life actuary to consult with big-name insurers. This will be a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure into a variety of projects to progress your career further.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Research and strategise to enhance business development of new and existing clients
- Lead on projects in a variety of areas including pricing, modelling, transformation
- Problem-solve to overcome technical challenges
- Help analyse the impact that IFRS17 will have on an insurance company’s balance sheet
- Problem-solve to overcome technical challenges
- Revise businesses’ projections and make sure they have adequate reserves
- Coach and mentor team members
- Manage team's activities to meet the quality of work and deadlines
- Being up-to-date with the latest professional guidance, regulatory change, industry best practice and changes to the business
Key Requirements:
- Qualified life actuary (by exams e.g. FIA) with post-qualified experience
- Experience in life insurance consulting and/or experience in a variety of roles in life insurance
- Experience in IFRS, Solvency II or financial reporting is desirable
- Experience of leading a team/project is essential
- You must be eligible to work in the UK
