Our client is seeking a qualified life actuary with a strong understanding of financial risk and capital management principles and techniques to take the lead on identifying, analysing and reporting on the firm's Financial Risks including market, credit, insurance and liquidity risk.
In this key, diverse and highly responsible position, you will play a leading role in the firm's Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process.
You will also contribute to the development of the oversight of the financial risk of Climate Change.
In addition, you will lead the oversight of the validation activity across all risk types, taking responsibility for the development of the validation policy, framework and plan in line with the Solvency II Directive, Level 2 implementing measures and other relevant guidance, supported by other members of the Risk team.
A natural influencer, the successful candidate will possess a detailed understanding of risk-based capital methods alongside a strong understanding of market, credit, insurance and liquidity risk types and risk mitigation approaches.
In addition, you will have a considerable understanding and strong experience of the application of the validation and ORSA requirements of Solvency II.
A fantastic career opportunity.
