Job Description Apply: Senior Actuary (Reinsurance Broking)
I am recruiting for an exciting NEW position with a growing reinsurance broker, who are expanding their team and are now looking to hire a Senior Reinsurance Pricing Actuary to work in the structured deals space.
They are open to seeing actuaries from both insurance and reinsurance backgrounds but ideally you will have London Market experience. Type of work you can expect to get involved in would include…
• Creating targeted / structured solutions for clients
• Special Transaction projects – assisting clients in reducing their Solvency II balance sheet
• Pricing and Treaty Valuation
• Working with industry captives
• Advising non-insurance clients to assess and price their risks
• Mitigation – Cat Aggregation
• Analytics for retail business
Working for a brokerage is different to your standard actuarial role and you will need to be comfortable managing projects and communicating with senior stakeholders. Ideally you would be a qualified actuary with 8+ years of experience but they are happy to look at people who are qualified by experience too.
Please contact me for more information.
