Job Description Apply: Senior Actuarial Manager
A new role has been created to support the Group Function of an international Life Insurer. This role will be instrumental in supporting and guiding day to day activities across the Group and Life reporting cycles.
You will act as a senior leader and identifying areas in need of improvement within risk and controls and be responsible for delivering solutions. This role will involve a large amount of senior stakeholder management at all levels across multiple teams and disciplines.
This is a very unique position and part of a newly created team so a great opportunity to make it your own. A background in reviewing and improving processes and controls would be a great advantage, other experience required includes:
- A qualified Life Actuary with a significant background in Reporting or Risk
- Experience working with an internal model and complex spreadsheets
- Good experience in regulatory requirements, Solvency II and IFRS17
- An ability to demonstrate leadership skills, people and stakeholder management as well as ability to challenge and be challenged
On offer is an attractive base and benefits package including a generous pension, holiday allowance, bonus and flexible working. You can be home-based but must have the ability to travel to the office when required.
