Job Description Apply: Senior Actuarial Manager
A Senior Manager role has been created within the Life Actuarial practice of a leading consultancy. This is a great opportunity for a Manager with a consulting background looking for that next step to lead and manage a team. Previous consulting experience would be beneficial but strong life insurance actuaries with sound experience in SII, reporting, IFRS17 and modelling will be considered. This consultancy is not only offering rapid career development and growth but also flexible and agile working. At present all consultants are working from home but post lockdown, when you are not on-site with clients (1 – 2 times per month), you will have the option to work from home.
Following an intake of some new clients and repeat business, this consultancy is going through a healthy phase of growth, so have identified a need to bring on an additional head. They have a vast portfolio of insurance and reinsurance businesses and their work is varied across Valuation, Reporting, Investments, ALM, Modelling and Longevity so you will be exposed to some very interesting and diverse projects from day 1.
The role will consist of managing clients, delivering projects, managing teams (both students and qualified actuaries) and also contributing to new business. In return, you will be managing some of the more high profile projects working closely with other experts in the industry. The route to Director is very achievable for ambitious and hard working individuals.
If you are a qualified actuary with a strong academic record as well as good technical life insurance experience, please get in touch to find out more. You can reach Louise on:
