Job Description Apply: Senior Actuarial Analyst - Syndicate
This is an exciting opportunity for a nearly/newly qualified Reserving Actuary to join a Lloyd's Syndicate. You will be part of a new team supporting the reserving process and production of quarterly reserve reviews.
You will be working very closely with the Chief Actuary & Head of Reserving. As part of a small Syndicate team, you will get great exposure to the whole reserving process and Actuarial Function as well as involvement in Pricing and Capital Modelling. As a Senior Analyst, you will also have the responsibility of mentoring/reviewing/managing the work of a junior analyst.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Calculating reserves for the business in conjunction with the Head of Reserving
- Assisting with reinsurance analysis
- Monitoring the performance of the business
- Provide assistance to the actuarial pricing team
The successful candidate should have between 3+ years of reserving experience from any GI background, possess excellent communication skills and ideally make good progress with exams.
