Job Description Apply: Senior Actuarial Analyst
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Actuarial Analyst based in a large, international Life Insurer. Working for this market-leading company, you will be given exposure to some very interesting work around Capital Management and Solvency II. This job opening sits within a team of 6 who are responsible for analysing balance sheet changes, reinsurance movements and working closely with other areas of the business to communicate numbers and their impact on the Solvency position.
This fantastic job is part of a student rotation programmes which will give you the opportunity to move internally every 18 – 24 months across the wider reporting, capital, risk and internal modelling teams. You will also be partnered with a sponsor who will champion your success and progression within the business. There is a great support network here who can develop your practical skills whilst providing you with full study support and a very competitive overall package.
To be considered for the role, you will be a student working towards your IFA qualification and have significant experience working in Life Insurance either directly for an Insurer or Reinsurer or for a Consultancy where you have gained exposure in areas such as Solvency II, reporting, capital management, pricing or investments. You will be familiar with Life Protection or Longevity products and be confident in discussing complex actuarial topics with non-technical and technical stakeholders.
