Job Description Apply: Scheme Actuary
I am looking for a Scheme Actuary, or aspiring Scheme Actuary, to join a leading Pensions Consultancies diverse team. As a qualified Actuary, you will deliver advice to both trustee and corporate clients across DB pension schemes, pension risk transfer, covenant, investments and funding.
You will have the opportunity to gain your Scheme Actuary certification if you are not already qualified, consult for your own portfolio of clients, lead client meetings/ presentations, utilise strong technical knowledge, and offer insightful perspectives on current subjects.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified actuary (IFOA/ FIA)
- Skillset relevant to Scheme Actuary cert or already Scheme Actuary cert
- Exceptional DB pensions knowledge and experience
- Strong soft skills- client management, communication, analytically minded, commercial, organised
- Project management skills
Experience working with Trustees/Corporates and exposure to FRS, IAS and US GAAP is also desirable.
