Job Description Apply: Reserving Actuary
Key Responsibilities include:
Production of
- Quarterly Reserving for a wide range of Commercial and Personal lines,
- Monthly Claims Reporting,
- Reserving Risk analysis,
- Claims Forecasts,
- Internal and External Reports and Presentations.
Undertake analyses to provide impactful insights to help better manage the business.
Build effective relationships with relevant stakeholders to improve reserving and help business leaders understand claims trends and actuarial concepts.
Coach and act as a referral point for other members of the team and other departments in respect of technical actuarial matters.
Improve existing processes and methodologies.
You will need:
3+ years’ actuarial experience in General Insurance.
10+ actuarial exam passes.
Excellent analytical & mathematical skills.
Strong communication skills, with proven ability to build effective relationships and to influence key stakeholders.
Ability to work to a high standard with minimum supervision.
Demonstrates sound and commercial judgement with an ability to design practical and proportionate solutions.
Desirable:
Commercial lines Reserving experience.
