Job Description Apply: Regional & Affinity Portfolio Pricing Manager
As Regional and Affinity Portfolio Pricing Manager you will lead the Affinity and Core Pricing team to manage and support pricing activities, in order to achieve agreed business strategy and performance targets. You will spend the majority of your time leading the development of pricing strategies, managing stakeholder relationships and guiding and developing your teams. You will make rate recommendations, responding to market conditions, top and bottom line results, using optimisation as a key tool for delivering these rates.
What will the role involve?
Leading development of pricing strategies to deliver prices to market which achieve portfolio targets which you have been actively involved in shaping and agreeing.
Ensuring that in the development of pricing strategies knowledge and insight of the product portfolio and associated market intelligence is actively used.
Ensuring that in the development of the strategic approach to pricing, active consideration is given to different products within the Regional and Affinity portfolio.
Planning, monitoring and managing team business operations, resources and performance in line with agreed performance targets, service standards and budgets
Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the wider business and key stakeholders, and managing their expectations.
Supporting and encouraging the identification and implementation of appropriate new and/or better ways of doing things so as to improve service and/or efficiency.
Maintaining an effective and proportionate business control environment in line with internal policy and material external legislative and/or regulatory requirements.
Recruiting, managing, coaching, developing and motivating the team
What do you need?
Experience of working in underwriting, claims and actuarial roles.
Experience of working directly with senior stakeholders.
Strong experience across a range of lines of business, products and types of customer.
Understanding of business strategies and broker propositions.
