Job Description Apply: Pricing Trading Manager
Our client is seeking a pricing expert with a strong understanding of General insurance underwriting principles to design and build the new Pricing Reporting and Trading area.
In this key role, you will build a reporting and market monitoring dashboard/framework that enables the business to understand the performance of its strategic pricing.
You will also maintain an in-depth knowledge of the pricing, data science and analysis tools available e.g. Python, R, Radar, Emblem, SQL etc, looking to augment the process with machine learning techniques.
With past experience in a Pricing function, ideally with Trading experience within motor/wheels, the successful candidate will have an understanding of how trading can support overall Pricing performance.
You will also have hands-on experience of developing predictive models coupled with an understanding of statistical and mathematical techniques applicable to general insurance pricing, risk selection and analysis.
