Goodman Masson are working with a Life Insurance Distributor who are searching for a Pricing and Product Development Actuarial Analyst to join their Actuarial team.
Study support can't be offered as it's a very small team, so people who have stopped taking the exams would be ideal.
This is a varied role working closely with the senior actuaries with a focus on product development and pricing process (Something you won’t get in a bigger actuarial team.)
As the newly appointed Pricing and Product Development Actuarial Analyst you will gain:
- A great UK Life insurance network as you will partner with insurers to deliver and distribute newly-designed products
- Knowledge about products such as term life, over 50s plans and critical illness
- Opportunities to work on household-name services and products
- Collaborative environment where you can interact with the backroom business, finance for month-end projects, sales, IT, etc.
- Experience in the ongoing development of pricing methods and procedures including contributing to the development of Actuarial systems including the implementation of data analytics (which is a new feature to most of the insurance industry)
To be considered for this role as the Pricing and Product Development Actuarial Analyst, you will:
- Have actuarial experience
- Have SQL experience
- Be familiarity with Cash-flow modelling is desirable
- Be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
