Job Description Apply: Pricing Consultant
Goodman Masson are working with a renowned Insurance company who are looking for a Pricing Consultant to join their rapidly expanding Pricing Department. This exciting new role will focus on shaping the pricing strategy for the Large Corporate Insurance portfolio with an emphasis on Commercial Property and Casualty lines of business.
In this role, you will be responsible for the research, development, building and implementation of an Excel-based deterministic rating tool. You will proactively identify and recommend pricing actions for resolving challenges, realising opportunities and implementing future pricing improvements to include the use of new and innovative pricing tools and methods with the aim of ensuring the continuous enhancement of the company’s pricing capability.
The ideal candidate will have London market pricing experience and extensive knowledge of insurance pricing techniques. You will have excellent numerical and analytical skills and will be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively build Excel-based rating tools. Candidates with strong programming skills ideally in SQL and previous experience or knowledge of R and/or Python will also be regarded as beneficial but not essential for the role.
