Job Description Apply: Pricing Actuary
Goodman Masson are currently sourcing for a Pricing Actuary with a rapidly expanding global MGA.
As you join the Actuarial Team the main focus will be Delegate Authority Management, which will involve:
- Assisting the Delegate Authority Underwriting Team with processing and renewing arrangements to ensure maximum profitability.
- Monitoring new arrangements and working alongside Agents to better underlying pricing models
- Supporting the wider Finance team with Financial Planning, Reserving, Actuarial systems and making sure it’s in line with Company’s business strategy.
This is a new avenue for the company, as their increased involvement in delegate authority has allowed them to gain a lot of premium through their vast lines of business.
This is not a standard Pricing role, which is why they’ve extended their search to actuaries with Pricing and/or Reserving backgrounds from any line of business. They are looking for nearly/newly qualified actuaries with 4+ years of experience, with strong technical and communication skills to relay data analysis to non-technical audiences.
