If you are a qualified Life actuary looking to gain experience within pricing, this job opportunity could be for you. The pricing team of a well-established protection insurance company are looking to hire a qualified actuary who will be responsible for; Reviewing pricing models; annual re-pricing of a portfolio of products; setting and reviewing of assumptions; competitor analysis; reviewing pricing structures, profitability and competitiveness.
This is a great opportunity to build on your existing pricing experience and work with some of the best talent in the industry. Whilst protection pricing would be an advantage, a background in longevity pricing or those with no pricing experience will be considered providing you can demonstrate the following:
- The ability to communicate complex ideas to a varied audience of both actuaries and non-actuaries and work with Heads of and C-Suite stakeholders from day one
- Strong presentation skills, the ability to challenge numbers and be challenged
- Good experience within the life insurance sector, ideally someone who has worked across 2 or move of the following areas: Pricing, Reporting, Modelling, Risk, Capital
- A background in either Consulting, Insurance or Reinsurance will be considered
