Job Description Apply: Practice Leader
Our client is one of the world's leading consultancies. They are looking to recruit a practice leader for their non-life / P&C actuarial team. The role is based in Madrid and you will have responsibility for both the Iberian market (consuting and business development), as well as team leadership (running a mid-large team of highly professional and ambitious non-life actuaries). The team's work includes the whole range of non-life actuarial work - pricing, reserving, advanced analytics, capital modelling, IFRS17 etc.
Our client is interested in candidates with consulting experience, and also candidates who do not have consulting experience but have strong potential for a commercial role (entrepreneurial, willing to create connections and opportunities etc). The ideal candidate will either be a senior non-life actuary at another consultancy who wants to lead the team or perhaps an actuary who has worked in consulting and industry and wants to go back into consulting. Driven and entrepreneurial actuaries from other background (eg Director of Pricing, CUO etc) will also be considered. Fluent Spanish + good English is required. Our client is also willing to consider candidates from Latin America and will assist with work permits.
