Pensions Investment Funding Manager
Job Description Apply: Pensions Investment Funding Manager
I am recruiting for a unique role in an in-house Pensions Investment and Funding Team based in London. They are looking for someone with a pensions background, but who is keen to learn more about investments and to work in a completely new environment.
The Pensions Investment and Funding Team supports the Trustees of the Groups pension schemes. These are amongst the largest in the UK, and the primary function of the team is to manage the funding of the DB schemes, advise on investment and hedging strategies, and monitor the assets on behalf of the Trustees.
As a pensions actuary reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, around 65% of your role will focus on actuarial funding valuations, but the rest will be a fantastic opportunity to work on the asset side. This will include supporting policy initiatives on responsible investment, hedging (liabilities including rates, inflation, longevity and tail risk) and monitoring investment managers.
If you have a solid background in DB pensions and a keen interest in doing something different, please get in touch ASAP!
