My client has a 2 month contract in their Pensions team based in London.
Rate: £600-900 per day
I am looking for an Actuary to work in the Pensions team of a large financial institution for a 2 month Contract. The team will be responsible for looking at the development of Market &Longevity Risk appetites, limits and policies and ensure reporting of positions against limits / targets for pension schemes. Also optimising risk management activity for pension schemes - real rate hedging, equity risk, credit spread and longevity risk management.
You will need:
- Experience of Defined Benefits Pensions Schemes (including accounting and capital calculations)
- Demonstrable knowledge of pensions regulations
- Experience of de-risking / hedging desirable
- Experience of Insurance companies preferable
- Risk Management experience preferable
- Experience of pensions risks in a banking environment would be an advantage
