Job Description
Our client is seeking a part-qualified non-life actuary (or talented graduate) to develop and maintain product pricing for prospective new products and new business tenders.
In this exciting career development opportunity, you will manage periodic risk rate analyses whilst investigating new techniques and sources of data that will improve risk selection, retention and new business conversion, and hence profitability.
You will also maintain systems to monitor the performance of accounts in terms of business flow, claims experience at a detailed level, and competitor prices.
In addition, you will maintain awareness of claims reserving developments for financial reporting so that consistency is achieved in pricing decisions.
With pricing experience gained within a personal lines environment, the successful candidate will also have gained some exposure to Emblem and Radar.
CII and RSS qualifications are also accepted and our client would consider support for the role holder to progress to ACII or CStat status.
Please contact us to discuss this vacancy or for an informal discussion regarding your career goals. We are very happy to perform bespoke research on your behalf.
