A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a senior student or nearly / newly qualified life insurance actuary with some investments/capital/ALM exposure.
Joining a prestigious life insurer, you will face off with their investments and origination team to understand the financial implications of new business, trading, transfers from/to the Matching Adjustments portfolio and other hedging and risk management activities.
This role will focus on assessing the adequacy of cash-flow matching and quantifying the impacts on the MA position under different investment scenarios. You will also gain exposure to reinsurance treaties and a number of stakeholders across the transactions and investments teams.
This would suit an outgoing senior student actuary with strong technical skills who is progressing well with exams (or just completed them).
