Job Description Apply: Nearly / Newly Pricing Actuary
Goodman Masson are working with a benefits and insurance provider who are looking for a nearly or newly qualified actuary with pricing experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be an excellent communicator. Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
Key Accountabilities:
- Own actuarial tasks, understanding their broader business implications, and provide comprehensive insights to actuarial and senior management regarding outcomes.
- Proactively engage with the wider business to offer expertise and guidance, leading discussions in areas of specialisation.
- Communicate technical topics confidently and effectively to diverse audiences, influencing cross-functional business decision-making.
Experience:
- Student or ex-student Actuary with a strong track record of actuarial exam passes or significant relevant experience.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with business stakeholders.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and inquisitive with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines, and handle competing priorities.
