Job Description Apply: Modelling Consultant
Accountabilities
- Plan, define and develop price models for a specific market sector to ensure they reflect current and future standards and business requirements (e.g. Society standard for price accuracy), are effectively resourced and meet the requirements of the Price strategy
- Develop and manage control cycles for pricing models to ensure they are regularly tested and refreshed and deliver the outputs required
- Identify and test pricing model data to improve understanding, performance and ‘predictiveness’
- Execute the ‘expert judgement’ process, in collaboration with Underwriting to ensure rates and rating logic are informed with the benefit of deep insurance and market knowledge
- Build and maintain influential, two-way relationships with the Risk and Street Pricing community and Underwriting to ensure the effective delivery of price modelling objectives
