Job Description Apply: Modelling Actuary
Goodman Masson are recruiting for modelling actuaries to improve the processes in this insurer. These roles in this team would fit people who like technology – designing new processes and challenging the use of spreadsheets.
You will be setting up model development design, UAT, building/testing, mapping out new processes and developing a structure around those new approaches with the end-user in mind. This role will be interesting as it involves problem-solving and streamlining processes. There are opportunities to learn about a variety of actuarial specialisms through these roles.
Key Requirements:
- Part-Qualified - Qualified life actuary (by exams or experience)
- Experience in actuarial modelling (e.g. RAFM, Prophet, Tyche, etc.)
- Experience in life insurance or life insurance consulting or bulk annuities
- Strong interest in at least one programming language (preferably SQL, Python or R/R Shiny)
If interested, apply here ASAP as recruitment is ongoing. Alternatively, get in touch with Abiramy (Abi) Logeswaran at Goodman Masson:
