Job Description Apply: Life Senior Actuarial Analyst
Goodman Masson are working with a global life insurer who is searching for part-qualified to nearly-qualified actuaries with UK Life insurance experience to join their specialist teams. This will be a role to gain a variety of skills that can open doors into different types of roles in the future.
Rotations are 18 months each and the roles begin in one of the areas below.
After you can move into their other specialist areas (not restricted to the ones below).
Valuation & Regulatory Reporting
Understanding the intricacies involved in the balance sheet and income statement will give you insight into how insurers work and describe how the business is performing on a regular basis.
Actuarial Systems
Improving efficiency and automating regular actuarial tasks by improving existing frameworks and implementing new technologies.
Capital & Risk Management
Reviewing and analysing new & emerging economic capital methodologies and industry practice.
Exposure to internal model work and contributing to the capital and risk management of this US-owned business.
Product Development
This innovative role involves creating, pricing and implementing new products for the market based on market trends and consumer needs.
Experience Analysis
Historical analysis of the company's insured population which is used to make critical business decisions about how much to reserve, which assets to hold and what price to charge for their customers.
