Job Description Apply: Life Actuarial Analyst Modelling
Goodman Masson are recruiting for a part-qualified life actuary to join the modelling life actuarial team of a consultancy. This will be a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure to various actuarial skills through a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the management of a portfolio of clients
- Research and strategise to enhance business development of new and existing clients
- Support the team's work through a variety of activities e.g. modelling, research, sales, presenting
- Problem-solve to overcome technical challenges
- Revise businesses’ projections and make sure they have adequate reserves.
- Coach and mentor team members
- Occasionally manage small teams and their activities to meet the quality of work and deadlines
- Being up-to-date with the latest professional guidance, regulatory change, industry best practices and changes to the business
Key Requirements:
- Part-Qualified life actuary with UK experience
- Experience in life insurance consulting or life insurance
- Experience in modelling e.g. VBA, Prophet, Moses, Python, R
