Job Description Apply: Life Actuarial Analyst
Goodman Masson are working with global life insurers who are searching for part-qualified to nearly-qualified actuaries with UK Life insurance experience to join their specialist teams. This will be a role to gain a variety of strong specialisms which can open doors in the future.
Capital and ALM:
This role involves asset-liability management to achieve the best balance between financial risk and returns while protecting the balance sheet from market risks.
Reporting:
This role is about understanding the intricacies involved on the balance sheet and income statement which can give you insight into how insurers work and how the business is performing on a regular basis.
Pricing:
This role involves pricing, modelling and documentation of new business quotations, covering a wide variety of insurance/reinsurance transactions.
Actuarial Systems/Modelling:
This role is about improving efficiency and automating regular actuarial tasks by improving existing frameworks and implementing new technologies.
Capital & Risk Management:
This role involves reviewing and analysing new & emerging economic capital methodologies and industry practice. You can get exposure to internal model work and can contribute to the capital and risk management of the company.
Product Development:
This innovative role involves creating, pricing and implementing new products for the market based on market trends and consumer needs.
Experience Analysis:
This role involves historical analysis of the company's insured population which is used to make critical business decisions.
