Job Description Apply: In-house Actuarial Projects Director (Life)
A rare opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing global life reinsurer who are seeking to hire an ambitious actuary for a purely Project focused role. It will be an internal consulting type of opportunity that would suit an actuary from a consulting background in particular (or an Actuary with a wide breadth of project focused experience).
This role will give exposure to a wide variety of exciting cross-functional projects and global initiatives. You will work on projects such as:
- Gaining deeper insights from results
- Streamlining processes
- Ensuring that systems and tools keep pace with rapidly evolving business needs
- Supporting high-profile annual Business Planning exercise
This is a highly visible and influential role that will work across all business areas (including R&D, Pricing, and Operations) with extensive exposure to working with senior management at various levels within the organisation, including the C-suite.
You will be expected to manage teams on a project by project basis (in a matrix management approach).
